EMCC Membership
Epsom Methodist Church
Cricket Club is a members club, which welcomes new players of all
backgrounds and abilities to come and enjoy the game of cricket with us.
We play cricket on Saturdays, occasionally on Sundays.
Membership Details:-
There are no formal EMCC Annual Subscriptions but match fees are charged
as follows:-
Members in full employment are charged at £6 per match
Members under 18 years on the day of the match are charged at £3 per
match
Members unemployed are charged at £3 per match
These should be paid to the Captain at the end of the match.
Team Selection
Players are to make
their availability known to the Selection Secretary before close of
business each Tuesday. The Captain/Selection Secretary will select a
balanced team of batsmen and bowlers, with equitable treatment to all
available players.
Players must pay their match fees to the
captain or the person delegated to collect their match fees before
leaving the venue of play. Failure to do so may affect the following
week’s selection.
As a courtesy to the rest of the team and
to the opposition, players must arrive at venue of play no later than 30
minutes prior to the designated start of the match.
On the match day, the captain or
nominated officer will select various people to help out. One of the
duties will be to help serving of the tea between innings.

building sporting relationships with other clubs and drawing on the
whole-life enjoyment of playing together as a team.
